One in Spanish
This might not make any sense to English speakers, but I’ll try to explain it, even if it spoils the joke.
This has to do with a Spanish christmas carol that is roughly translated like this:

“come see how the fish drink in the river, come see how they drink while they see god being born.
They drink, they drink, and they drink again. The fishes in the river when they see god being born”

If someone understands the idea behind this song, I would love to hear it. All I can think when I hear it is “Why would the fish decide to drink (water?) when they see god being born? Fish breathe water, but I’ve never seen one drinking it. Whales do, but they throw it away afterwards.
I get the fishes part because of the weird astrological fixation christians have with them. But the drinking part is simply weird. Basically, the fish become alcoholics when god is born.
I should say that this stupid song is probably the equivalent of gingle bell rock in America. During christmas season you just can’t escape it. It’s everywhere!
So on to the comic. Below is the translation of what it says. With my ellaborate, boring, but hopefully informative explanation you should understand the point.
It all started as a social event. We met in the river, we drank, drank and drank again. That whole thing about seeing God born was only and excuse.
After overcoming his alcohol problem, Arnulfo devoted himself to impart testimonial talks.
Be reasonable
Fight the faith
