What are your thoughts on death? When you die, what happens?

Hey Tyler,
Actually I don’t think I’ve answered this one. But in a nutshell: when you die, that’s it.
I really don’t spend any time thinking about this. I enjoy life and try to make the best of it. As far as I know there is no reason to expect anything after death. So any minute I spend thinking about it is a minute I could have used to do something more meaningful with my one and only life.
This doesn’t make life any less amazing or interesting. Probably quite the opposite. Not having second runs makes you realize that it’s important to embrace this one.
A little quote for the ride:
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”

Great answer! I totally agree. When your brain dies, you die, that’s it. I think dreams are somewhat to blame for people thinking that there is an afterlife. Does that make sense at all? lol. Kind of hard to explain it in this little space. :)

Welcome to my blog. I hope you find some useful information about atheism and rational thinking. Have you ever thought about living without fearing god? Maybe you'll find the answer here
